    The special composition of the radiation shielding glass from SCHOTT provides an optimum protection against X-rays and gamma rays in medical, industry and research work. The lead oxide content of RD50 and RD30 is more than 65 respectively 22 per cent by weight.

    Radiation shielding glass RD 50 meets de requirements of IEC 61331-2 and DIN 6841.

    Where to use RD50 2,1mm :
    - Medical use with X-RAY generator from 80Kv to 200Kv*
    - Medical use in CT scanner
    - Medical use with C-ARM fluoroscopy
    - Industrial use NDT with X-ray generator from 80Kv to 200Kv
