Shield & wall rack for use with a carbon fibre table: 500 mm to 525 mm wide.

This lower body shield substantially reduces exposure to scatter radiation emanating from a carbon fibre table or patient’s body.

It easily slides onto the head end and protects physicians or others standing close-by.

It comprises a lightweight and durable structure, with middle link and pivotal side arms supporting a flexible inner 0.5mm lead equivalent lead curtain.


PRODUCT FEATURES :
· The shield slides onto the carbon fibre top and maintains its position by means of an internal friction pad, which allows simple positioning, but prevents unwanted slip, even when the table is tilted.

· The two pivotal side wings can be formed around the user, extended along the table or folded neatly away according to preference. They can be quickly and easily moved to allow full C-arm movement.

· Each shield can slide onto either table type with only a minor width adjustment required. Once set for a particular table, the shield easily slides onto its bespoke wall rack thereby allowing convenient storage. Once secured to the rack, the shield arms fold neatly to reduce wall space.
