Brass frame for control of film / screen contact in the X-ray cassette.
The weft, present on the film after exposure to X-rays and development, highlights the areas where the film / screen contact is altered (underexposed areas) and the dirt on the screens.
Recommended constants for exposure: 50kV / 5mAs
