This folding portering chair has been designed specifically to transport bariatric patients to and from the MRI suite.

With the increase of obesity becoming more of an issue in recent years, this chair allows patients to be transported safely to an MR magnet.

With no magnetic parts included in the design, the chair can transport the patient into the MR room.
The folding chair is approximately 30% wider than our standard portering chair and has been weight tested to 300 kg (658lbs) Static weight.
Armrests raise and lower to below seat level to ease patient transfer.
