The special composition of the radiation shielding glass from SCHOTT provides an optimum protection against X-rays and gamma rays in medical, industry and research work. The lead oxide content of RD50 and RD30 is more than 65 respectively 22 per cent by weight.

Radiation shielding glass RD 50 meets de requirements of IEC 61331-2 and DIN 6841.
